It’s an emergency.

There are no Roads. No Doctors. No 911.

The help you need is blocked by raging rivers, vast deserts, or insurmountable mountains.

How would you get the help you need?

What would you do?

If you or someone you love is sick or injured, and the nearest hospital is a 3-day walk across mountains, rivers, or vast deserts, you’re thankful for MAF; and a 10-minute flight that can mean the difference between life and death.

MAF provides countless individuals in thousands of isolated communities around the world with the means to provide a better life for themselves and their families.

But for us, it’s more than just providing practical help in times of need. We’re serious about fulfilling the Great Commission. In fact, it’s at the very core of who we are.

our mission:

Sharing God’s love through aviation and technology.

our vision:

Isolated people physically and spiritually transformed in Christ’s name.

We go where others can’t or won’t.

Real “uttermost parts of the earth” stuff.

We do it because we believe that no one is beyond the reach of God’s love.

Only when the plane comes

You shield your eyes against the glare of the blazing mid-morning sun, darting them back and forth, scanning the horizon, searching for the source of the sound as it echoes across the plain…

Then it appears. A tiny dot at first, but growing larger with every passing moment.

It’s the MAF plane.

“Right on time. Just in time.”

  • Maybe it’s a regular weekly flight bringing medical supplies to restock a local village clinic, or Bibles translated into your language for the very first time…
  • Maybe it’s bringing building supplies for the new school, or replacement parts for a broken well…
  • Or maybe it’s transporting a national pastor to provide encouragement and discipleship to a remote congregation…

Whatever the reason, to countless thousands of families living in more than 30 countries around the world, planes from Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), an international, Christian, humanitarian, relief and development organization, are anticipated and welcome.
