Serve as a Teacher with MAF

Teachers are needed to provide an education for the school-aged children of MAF families and those of our ministry partners overseas.

Teachers with MAF also help to strengthen and solidify the same sense of missionary call that their parents responded to – something that’s especially important during the formative years when loneliness and a sense of isolation sets in. What’s more, many of our teachers also have an opportunity to provide Christian witness to the children of parents serving with non-Christian development agencies overseas.

MAF places teachers of all grade levels (K – 12) in a number of schooling situations, ranging from one- room, multi-grade schools, to traditional accredited international schools.

In addition to the general requirements for all MAF overseas staff, consideration will be given to those applicants with …

  • A teacher certification – Canadian Provincial or ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International)
