Dominic
VILLENEUVE

I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
– Revelations 3:8 (NIV)

Dominic was born in Kamloops, British Columbia to Christian parents. From a very young age he was interested in becoming a pilot. In his teens, a dedicated youth pastor led him to the Lord. Shortly thereafter, MAF missionaries visited his church and he was introduced to the idea of using his interest in aviation to further the Kingdom.

Dominic has always been drawn to ministry and after high school he attended Prairie College to study Bible and aviation to prepare himself to answer the call God has placed on his life. After graduating, Dominic moved to Thompson, Manitoba where he worked as a ramp attendant and invested in the community by working with youth from isolated First Nations reserves.

In Red Lake, ON, Dominic has been able to develop his skills as a pilot and see first-hand the impact the plane has on isolated communities. He continues to serve in his church community by leading worship and occasionally preaching on Sunday mornings.

Dominic is excited to start his journey with MAF. He will be serving as a pilot in the DR Congo, continuing to bring the hope and healing of Christ to the people of this country. Please pray for Dominic as he builds his Ministry Partnership team and prepares to live out the call God has placed on his life.

MAF needs people like Dominic who are prepared and willing to serve the needs of the poor in the DR Congo. Consider contributing to the important work he is helping to make possible with MAF in the DRC.
