Chris and Julene

Paeton, Makenna, and Tehya

The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.
– Matthew 13:44 (NIV)

Chris and Julene Uganecz have been with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) for over 12 years. They, along with their three school-aged children, Tehya (2002), Paeton (2004), and Makenna (2008), have served with MAF in the Indonesian provinces of Kalimantan and Papua.

Chris serves as a Cessna Caravan pilot, as well as the MAF Sentani base manager. Julene is a teacher at Hillcrest School – an English-speaking, American-based school for missionary kids and Indonesians – and is involved in creating Sunday school materials for Indonesian churches.

We invite you to partner with the Uganecz family as they prepare to serve another term with MAF. It takes a team to accomplish great things for the Kingdom of God – those who will pray, those who will give, and those who will go. We look forward to seeing what God will accomplish through their ministry, for the glory of Christ, in Indonesia.

MAF needs couples like Chris and Julene who are prepared and willing to serve the needs of the poor in Indonesia. Consider contributing to the important work they are helping to make possible with MAF.
