Andrew grew up on a farm in southern Ontario, and accepted Christ at a young age. He attended aircraft maintenance college in North Bay Ontario in 2008, where he initially felt his call to missions with MAF. After a few years working as an aircraft mechanic in northern Ontario, Andrew went back to school to complete his Bible and flight training, with hopes of joining MAF.
Jaelynn was raised in various towns in northern British Columbia. She also learned to love Christ at a young age and has continued to grow in her relationship with Him by serving wherever she finds herself – including work with Bible camps and short-term missions. It is this desire to serve those around her that directed Jaelynn towards a role in health care and the dream of full-time missions.
In 2014, Canada’s East met West at Prairie Bible College where Andrew was taking his flight training and Jaelynn was in the nursing program. After 5 months of Andrew letting Jaelynn win at board games, a relationship was born, leading to their marriage in November of 2017.
After finishing college, Andrew and Jaelynn had been flying and nursing in Northwestern Ontario, and are currently serving in Angola.
Continue to pray for Andrew and Jaelynn as they serve the people of Angola with MAF.
