Nick was born and raised in Hawkesville, Ontario. He was baptized during high school at Hawkesville Mennonite Church. Nick completed his Commercial Pilots Licence at Conestoga College and headed to Alberta to begin his career in aviation. Upon fully committing his life to Christ, he attended a one-year theology program at Heritage Bible College with plans to join MAF.

Jocelyn was born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta. She was baptized at the age of 15 and became very involved in church at Christian Fellowship Assembly. Jocelyn has served in a variety of ways, including a discipleship program in Oklahoma and helping with disaster relief in Galveston, Texas after Hurricane Ike.

Nick and Jocelyn met when Jocelyn went skydiving and Nick just happened to be the pilot. They ‘fell’ for each other and were married on June 12, 2010.

Nick and Jocelyn lived in Kinshasa, DR Congo from 2011 to 2020. Nick served as a pilot, as well as program manager. Jocelyn helped out in various ways on the program, while also completing her degree online in Psychology and being a stay at home mom for their kids Ruth and Pascal.

Since September 2020, Nick and Jocelyn have been serving at MAF Canada headquarters in Guelph, ON. Jocelyn is the Learning and Development Coordinator and Nick is the Operations Projects Coordinator.

MAF needs couples like Nick and Jocelyn who help to make the work of serving the needs of the poor possible. Consider contributing to the important work they are helping to make possible with MAF.
