Matt and Chaundra
Fred, Charlee, and Theodore
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
Support the work that Matt and Chaundra Eagar are involved in with MAF.
I would like to increase my current regular support amount.
Matt and Chaundra Eagar, along with their three children, Fred (2007), Charlee (2009), and Theo (2013), have been serving with MAF since 2013.
For close to six years, the Eagars served with the MAF Uganda program based out of Kampala. During that time, Matt spent his days flying, bringing the hope of the Gospel, as well as tangible help to remote regions of Northern Uganda, the Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, and South Sudan. Over and above caring for their family and managing the visitors to the program, Chaundra invested her time and talents by writing about the impact of the ministry of MAF in the region, as well as assisting with the communications of one of MAF’s partner organization, who provides trauma care for those living in refugee camps in the region.
In the Spring of 2020, the family transitioned back to Fredericton, New Brunswick, to provide for the medical needs of their daughter, Charlee. Matt has returned to commercial aviation, while Chaundra has remained with MAFC to serve in a part-time role as Development Support and Resource Assistant, working remotely as part of the MAF Canada home office team.
Chaundra’s appreciation for the nuances of living cross-culturally, as well as her experience in communications ensures that she brings a unique perspective as she writes stories of how MAF is sharing God’s love with isolated people around the world, one flight at a time.
We invite you to pray for, and prayerfully consider partnering financially with Chaundra as she continues to serve with MAF.
