Greg & Julie DOLE

Greg and Julie

Franklin, Isaac, and Jaclynn

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
– 1 Peter 4:10 (NASB)

Greg grew up in a Christian home in Alberta, Canada. After reading “The Jungle Pilot” (Nate Saint’s story), Greg realized that he could use aviation to reach people with the Good News of Jesus Christ. He then enrolled in the Mission Aviation program at Prairie Bible College to pursue his dream of serving through aviation.

Julie was raised in the United States in a small town in Michigan by Christian parents. During her teen years, she developed a heart to serve God on the mission field, which led her to attend Prairie Bible College, where Greg and Julie met.

Greg and Julie, along with their three children Franklin, Isaac, and Jaclynn are currently serving with MAF in Papua, Indonesia. Greg’s role is as a Cessna C208 Amphibian Caravan line pilot/mechanic. While Greg has the privilege of serving through the technical skills God has granted him, Julie plays an important role by teaching their children, caring for their home, and building relationships with other women in their neighbourhood where followers of Jesus are scarce.

MAF Papua’s vision is to provide a service Connecting people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Caring for their physical needs, and Cultivating personal growth through training and discipleship. Please pray for the Dole family as they continue serving with MAF in Indonesia.

MAF needs couples like Greg and Julie who are prepared and willing to serve the needs of the poor in Indonesia. Consider contributing to the important work they are helping to make possible with MAF.
