James and Kristina

Nate and Hannah

The King will reply, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
– Matthew 25:40 (NIV)

James was raised on a farm in central Alberta and made the decision to follow Jesus at a young age, with the desire to serve in missions taking root in his teenage years. After studying at Peace River Bible Institute, he took his aircraft maintenance engineer training at Northern Lights College with the dream of one day being involved in mission aviation.

Kristina grew up in rural Alberta and accepted the Lord as a young child. She also dreamed of serving the Lord as a missionary. After high school, Kristina attended Peace River Bible Institute before going on to earn a Bachelor of Education at Grande Prairie Regional College.

James and Kristina met through mutual Bible school friends and in August 2007, they were married with the hope of one day entering the mission field together. Upon graduating with her teaching degree in 2010, Kristina taught for 2 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom to Hannah in 2012, and Nate in 2014.

James and Kristina are excited to serve with MAF at Prairie Aviation Training Centre in Three Hills, AB, where James is responsible for the maintenance of the aircraft used to train future mission pilots.

MAF needs couples like James and Kristina who have the necessary skills to provide support for students training to become future missionaries. Consider contributing to the important work they are helping to make possible with MAF.
