Despite making enormous progress in reducing poverty right across the country, Uganda relies heavily on the support of foreign aid
Our flights make areas plagued by rebel activity and insecurity accessible, preventing vulnerable communities from being cut off when roads become impassable during the rainy season.
Although the south returned to normality, roads in the north remain dangerous due to banditry and rebel activity. MAF flights assist these areas, as well as the under-developed Karamoja region in the north-east.
We enable NGOs to provide education, assist victims of violence, provide training in farming techniques, reduce incidents of domestic violence and HIV, help people earn an income through carpentry and sewing, and show the Jesus film.
